How This Notice Fits With Our Policies
This Legal Notice is a plain-language overview. The detailed rules live in these documents, and each one forms part of your agreement with us:
Terms of Service
The full purchase agreement. Read the Terms.
Shipping Policy
Processing, delivery, and tracking details. Read the policy.
Refund Policy
How returns and refunds work. Read the policy.
Warranty
What our 2-year warranty covers. Read the warranty.
Privacy Policy
How we handle your data. Read the policy.
If this Notice summarizes a topic that a detailed policy covers, the detailed policy controls for that topic. If any law gives you more protection than a clause here or in our policies, the law applies. Nothing in this Notice removes a right you have under federal or state law.
Our Product, Pricing and Taxes
We currently sell one product, the CuliRock Meat Grinder, in the Kitchen Appliances category. You can see every item we offer at our catalog.
Motor and design
Stainless steel grinder with a continuous-duty 1200W motor, full-size grinding plates, a reverse function for clearing jams, and parts that disassemble for cleaning.
What is in the box
The grinder, three grinding plates (fine, medium, and coarse), a sausage stuffing attachment, and a kubbe attachment. Nothing extra is required to use them.
Price
$298.00 USD at the time of publication (SKU RAF-GRINDER-001). The price in your cart is the price we charge.
- Currency. All prices are in U.S. dollars. Free shipping applies to every order delivered to a U.S. address. There are no membership fees, subscriptions, or recurring charges. Every purchase is a one-time payment.
- Sales tax. Where the law requires us to collect sales tax, we calculate it from your delivery address and show it at checkout before you pay. Where tax is not required, none is charged.
- No hidden fees. The total at checkout is the total you pay, including tax where it applies. We do not add handling fees or surprise charges after you place the order.
- Honest pricing. If we show a comparison or crossed-out price, it will be a price at which we actually offered the grinder to the public, consistent with the FTC’s Guides Against Deceptive Pricing (16 CFR Part 233).
- Price and listing errors. If a price or product detail is wrong because of a typographical or technical error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full, as explained in our Terms of Service.
- Descriptions and images. We describe the grinder as accurately as we can. Screen settings can change how colors look, and small packaging or finish differences are not defects.
- What we do not sell. We do not sell meat, food, or consumable products. The grinder is made for household kitchens and is not sold for commercial or resale use. We may limit quantities per household or order.
Payment Methods and Security
We accept these payment methods. Availability of a method can depend on your device and location, and checkout shows exactly what you can use:
Encrypted checkout
Payments run through Shopify’s encrypted checkout. CuliRock never sees or stores your full card number.
U.S. dollars only
We charge in USD. Your bank may add a currency-conversion or foreign-transaction fee, which we do not control.
Your dispute rights
Contact us first if a charge looks wrong. You also keep your right to dispute it with your card issuer under the Fair Credit Billing Act (CFPB guide).
Fraud prevention
We may verify an order or cancel it if payment is declined, reversed, or cannot be verified, or if we suspect unauthorized use. We refund anything already charged.
Shipping and Delivery
We are based in the United States and ship only to addresses in the United States. Shipping is free on every order. Your grinder ships directly from our reliable overseas partner supplier, and you receive a tracking link by email as soon as it ships. The full details are in our Shipping Policy.
1. Order placed
Orders placed before 2:00 PM Eastern start processing the same business day.
2. Processing
Processing takes 1 to 2 business days.
3. In transit
Delivery takes 4 to 6 business days after shipment, with tracking by email.
4. Delivered
Plan on 5 to 8 business days in total from order to delivery.
- Your right to timely shipping. Under the FTC’s Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule (16 CFR Part 435), we must ship within the time we promise. If we cannot, we will tell you, give you a new date, and let you cancel for a prompt refund.
- Imported product. Because the grinder ships from overseas, it is an imported good. Country-of-origin marking required under 19 U.S.C. § 1304 appears on the product or packaging where the law requires it. Customs processing can occasionally add time.
- Your address. Please enter a complete, accurate address. If you use a P.O. box, a military address, or an address in a U.S. territory, contact us before ordering so we can confirm the carrier can deliver there.
- Lost or damaged packages. Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier delivers the package. If a package is lost or arrives damaged, contact us as soon as you notice and we will make it right.
- Delays. Weather, carrier, customs, or volume delays are outside our control. We will keep you informed.
Returns, Refunds and Cancellations
Our full rules are in the Refund Policy. In short:
30 days to start a return
You have 30 days from delivery to start a return. The grinder should be unused, in original condition, and in its original packaging with all accessories.
Refund within 10 days
After we receive and inspect the return, we email you our decision. Approved refunds go to your original payment method within 10 days.
Who pays return shipping
If you changed your mind, you pay return shipping. If the grinder arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect, we pay.
Contact us first
Email support@culirock.com or call +1 307-333-0175 for return instructions and the correct return address.
- Cancelling an order. To cancel before it ships, contact us right away. We cannot cancel an order that has already shipped, but you may return it as described above.
- Our policy goes further than federal law. Federal law does not give a general right to cancel an online purchase. The FTC’s Cooling-Off Rule covers door-to-door and similar sales, not online orders. Our 30-day return window is a store policy we offer voluntarily. Your legal rights for defective or misdescribed products stay in place.
- Posted return policy. This summary and our Refund Policy satisfy state posting rules, including California Civil Code section 1723 and New York General Business Law section 218-a.
Warranty
Every CuliRock grinder carries a two-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal household use. The complete terms are on our Warranty page, which you can read before you buy.
What is covered
Defects in materials and workmanship for two years from the date of purchase, when the grinder is used in a home kitchen as the product materials describe.
What is not covered
Normal wear, misuse, unauthorized modification, commercial use, and cosmetic wear.
Who can claim
The original purchaser. If you received the grinder as a gift, you may submit a claim with the buyer’s permission and order number.
How to claim
Email support@culirock.com with your order number and a description of the problem.
This is a limited warranty under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (16 CFR Part 702). It gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary by state. Any implied warranty on the grinder is limited to two years where the law allows. Some states do not allow limits on implied warranties, so that limit may not apply to you (see Section 10).
Product Safety and Food Safety
The grinder is an electrical appliance with moving parts and sharp cutting edges. Please use it only as the product materials describe, and keep these basics in mind:
Unplug first
Unplug the grinder before assembling, cleaning, or changing plates. Keep fingers out of the feed opening and use the food pusher.
Boneless meat only
Grind boneless meat cut to fit the feed opening. Do not grind bones, frozen blocks, or hard items.
Keep away from children
Children should not operate the grinder, and it should be stored out of their reach.
Cleaning
The grinder fully disassembles. Plastic parts are dishwasher-safe. We recommend hand-washing the metal blade and plates to keep them sharp.
Cook to safe temperatures
Keep raw meat cold, wash all parts and hands, and cook ground beef, pork, veal, and lamb to 160°F and ground poultry to 165°F. See the USDA temperature chart.
Selling ground meat
Our grinder is for household use. Selling ground meat to others usually requires state or USDA inspection and licensing. Check with your state meat and poultry program first.
- Game meat. If you grind venison or other wild game, follow your state wildlife agency’s rules. Some states require testing for diseases such as chronic wasting disease before you consume or share the meat.
- Reporting and recalls. If you are injured or think the grinder is unsafe, stop using it and contact us. You can also file a report at SaferProducts.gov. If a safety notice or recall ever applies to our product, we will email purchasers and post it on this Site. Current federal recalls are listed at cpsc.gov/Recalls.
Federal Consumer Protection Laws
These federal laws apply to an online store like ours. We explain each one in plain terms and what it means for your order.
FTC Act, Section 5
15 U.S.C. § 45 bans unfair or deceptive practices. Every claim we make about the grinder must be truthful and backed by evidence.
Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Rule
16 CFR Part 435 requires us to ship on time or offer you a chance to cancel and a prompt refund.
Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act
15 U.S.C. §§ 2301-2312 and 16 CFR Parts 701 and 702 require clear written warranty terms that you can read before purchase.
Fair Credit Billing Act
15 U.S.C. § 1666 lets you dispute billing errors on credit cards. The Electronic Fund Transfer Act gives similar protection for debit cards.
Reviews and endorsements
16 CFR Part 255 (Endorsement Guides) and 16 CFR Part 465 (fake reviews rule) require honest, disclosed reviews. The Consumer Review Fairness Act, 15 U.S.C. § 45b, protects your right to post a truthful review.
Consumer Product Safety Act
15 U.S.C. § 2051 and following governs product safety and recall reporting to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
Country-of-origin marking
19 U.S.C. § 1304 requires imported goods to be marked with their origin. We make no “Made in USA” claims (16 CFR Part 323).
CAN-SPAM and TCPA
15 U.S.C. § 7701 and 47 U.S.C. § 227 govern marketing email and texts. We send marketing only after you opt in, and you can opt out anytime.
COPPA
15 U.S.C. §§ 6501-6506 protects children under 13. Our Site is not directed to them, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Americans with Disabilities Act
42 U.S.C. § 12181 and following guides our work to keep the Site usable for people with disabilities (see Section 14).
E-SIGN Act
15 U.S.C. § 7001 lets us send legally required notices electronically, such as order confirmations and policy updates.
Pricing guides
16 CFR Part 233 limits misleading comparison prices. We only show reference prices that are real.
State-Specific Consumer Rights
Consumer protection in the United States is largely a matter of state law, and every state has its own statute against unfair or deceptive practices. We apply the strongest protection that applies to your order. Select a state or topic below.
Florida (where we are based)The Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (Fla. Stat. § 501.201 and following) protects consumers. Our marketing texts follow the Florida Telephone Solicitation Act (Fla. Stat. § 501.059). You may complain to the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services or the Florida Attorney General.
Rights that cannot be waived include the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act (Civ. Code § 1790 and following), the Consumers Legal Remedies Act (Civ. Code § 1750 and following), and the Unfair Competition Law (Bus. & Prof. Code § 17200). Our return terms are posted under Civ. Code § 1723, and our pricing follows the all-in pricing rule in Bus. & Prof. Code § 17508.5.
Proposition 65. California requires a warning when a product exposes people to listed chemicals above safe-harbor levels. If a warning applies to the grinder, it appears on the product page before purchase. Learn more at p65warnings.ca.gov.
Privacy. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA (Civ. Code § 1798.100 and following), CalOPPA, and the Shine the Light law (Civ. Code § 1798.83). See Section 11. Complaints may go to the California Department of Consumer Affairs.
General Business Law §§ 349 and 350 prohibit deceptive acts and false advertising. Section 218-a requires a posted refund policy, which is in Section 6. The SHIELD Act (GBL § 899-bb) requires reasonable data security. Contact the New York Attorney General with concerns.
The Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act (Tex. Bus. & Com. Code § 17.41 and following) applies to your purchase, and nothing here waives your rights under it. The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act gives Texas residents data rights. Contact the Texas Attorney General.
The Consumer Fraud Act (N.J.S.A. 56:8-1 and following) and the Truth-in-Consumer Contract, Warranty and Notice Act (N.J.S.A. 56:12-14 and following) protect you. Any term in our documents that New Jersey law forbids does not apply to New Jersey residents. The New Jersey Data Privacy Act also applies. See njconsumeraffairs.gov.
The Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act (815 ILCS 505) protects Illinois buyers. Contact the Illinois Attorney General.
M.G.L. c. 93A and the Attorney General’s regulations (940 CMR 3.00) apply, along with the data security rules at 201 CMR 17.00. Massachusetts does not allow a seller to disclaim the implied warranty of merchantability on consumer goods (M.G.L. c. 106, § 2-316A). Contact the Massachusetts Attorney General.
The Consumer Protection Act (RCW 19.86) prohibits unfair or deceptive acts. Contact the Washington Attorney General.
Pennsylvania’s Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Law (73 P.S. § 201-1 and following), Ohio’s Consumer Sales Practices Act (R.C. 1345.01 and following), and Georgia’s Fair Business Practices Act (O.C.G.A. § 10-1-390 and following) each protect buyers in those states.
Virginia Consumer Protection Act (Va. Code § 59.1-196 and following), Colorado Consumer Protection Act (C.R.S. § 6-1-101 and following), Connecticut Unfair Trade Practices Act (Conn. Gen. Stat. § 42-110a and following), and Maryland Consumer Protection Act (Com. Law § 13-101 and following). Virginia, Colorado, and Connecticut also have comprehensive privacy laws.
Since the Supreme Court’s 2018 decision in South Dakota v. Wayfair, states may require out-of-state online sellers to collect sales tax. We collect and remit tax where the law requires it, based on your delivery address, and show it at checkout. Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire, and Oregon have no statewide sales tax. Alaska has none at the state level, but local taxes may apply.
Some states limit or forbid disclaimers of implied warranties on consumer goods, including Massachusetts, Maryland, Connecticut, Vermont, West Virginia, Kansas, and the District of Columbia, among others. In those places, the implied warranty limit in our warranty does not reduce your rights.
A growing number of states give residents rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out of certain uses of their personal data. These include California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia. We honor valid requests from residents of every state. See Section 11.
Every state and D.C. has an unfair or deceptive practices law, rules on sales tax, data-breach notice, and implied warranties. If any clause in our documents is not allowed where you live, that clause does not apply to you and the rest stays in force. Find your state attorney general at naag.org/find-my-ag.
Privacy, Marketing and Messages
How we collect, use, and share your information is explained in our Privacy Policy. Here is what matters most:
- Marketing is opt-in. We send marketing emails and texts only if you sign up, and every message tells you how to unsubscribe. Transactional messages, such as order confirmations and shipping updates, are not marketing.
- Your privacy choices. You may ask to see, correct, or delete your personal data, and to opt out of data sharing, using our opt-out page or by emailing support@culirock.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” We aim to respond within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
- Electronic notices. You agree that we may send required notices by email or on the Site (Section 9, E-SIGN Act).
- Children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Advertising, Claims and Reviews
Claims we can back up
Statements about the 1200W motor, batch size, and daily home use come from the product’s design. Real results vary with the meat, its temperature, and how you prepare it.
Honest reviews
We do not write fake reviews or pay for reviews without disclosure. We do not remove a review just because it is negative.
Endorsements
If anyone receives a free product or payment to promote CuliRock, that connection must be clearly disclosed.
No false urgency
We do not use false scarcity or deceptive countdown claims to rush your purchase.
